Carolyn-jungsuh rhee is (1) a korean-american artist working across digital/analog illustration, design, process-oriented tarot, and moth surveying. (2) rooted insoul-making, creating from the interconnected source of everything, seeking to return a sense of soul to all things. (3) guided by a symbiotic play of varying mediums, evolving ecosystems, and the spirit of her own inner unfolding. From natural found objects, collected moth specimen, cellphone photos, k-pop lyrical references, mythos to eco-psychological thinking – Jungsuh recomposes the mosaic that surrounds and takes part in her own unfurling as much as she takes part in its: a dance of reciprocity.
